Denying the Cutter
This basketball drill works on defending the cutter. Set up your offensive player on the wing, the defender in the center of the key, and the ball out on the 3-point line. The defender wants to have two feet in the lane, and perform what is called the meet and greet. Meet the cutter or flashpost as he "V Cuts" across, and follow using denial defense staying between him and the ball and the basket.
